Daniele Giannini (Lega): “Inutile la ciclabile di Via Panama che non piace a nessuno”
La nuova pista ciclabile realizzata in via Panama, nel cuore dei Parioli, continua a far discutere.
Questa mattina residenti e attivisti hanno trasformato l’asfalto in un “foglio di protesta” scrivendo con gessetti colorati messaggi indirizzati all’amministrazione capitolina.
L’iniziativa, sostenuta dall’ex presidente del Municipio XIII ed ex consigliere regionale Daniele Giannini (Lega), punta a denunciare quello che viene definito un intervento “inutile, costoso e dannoso per la viabilità”.
«Abbiamo riempito la nuova pista ciclabile di scritte e messaggi perché le istituzioni ci ascoltino» – ha dichiarato Giannini – «Qui si è speso denaro pubblico per sostituire una ciclabile che funzionava bene, restringendo la carreggiata, togliendo parcheggi e creando disagi enormi. Intanto i marciapiedi restano pericolosi, il verde è abbandonato e i trasporti pubblici inefficaci».
Secondo l’esponente della Lega, la priorità dovrebbe essere quella di ripristinare la ciclabile originaria, rimettere in sicurezza i marciapiedi e avviare un piano di riqualificazione del verde urbano, piuttosto che realizzare opere che peggiorano la vivibilità della zona.
Alla protesta ha preso parte anche il gruppo S.O.S. Panama, che contesta l’assenza di partecipazione nella fase decisionale:
«Quest’opera è stata calata dall’alto, senza alcuna condivisione con chi abita la strada» – ha aggiunto Giannini – «Ora che sono evidenti gli errori progettuali, è il momento di accogliere le proposte dei residenti».
La contestazione con i gessetti rappresenta l’ultimo episodio di una mobilitazione che mette in luce il malcontento di una parte del quartiere Parioli nei confronti delle politiche di mobilità attuate dal Comune di Roma.
