Tra i vincitori Veronica Pamio, Senior Vice President External Affairs, Sustainability & Destination Management di AdR, premiata per la realizzazione della Solar Farm
La sostenibilità non è più solo un obiettivo, ma un pilastro strategico per Aeroporti di Roma. Lo dimostra il riconoscimento ricevuto questa sera a Roma in occasione dei Premi “Pimby (Please In My Back Yard) Green 2025”,
promossi da Assoambiente, l’associazione che rappresenta le imprese dell’igiene urbana, del riciclo, del recupero, dell’economia circolare, dello smaltimento rifiuti e delle bonifiche.
Tra gli otto vincitori figura Veronica Pamio, Senior Vice President External Affairs, Sustainability & Destination Management di AdR, premiata per la realizzazione della Solar Farm:
il più grande impianto fotovoltaico in autoconsumo in uno scalo europeo e tra i più estesi al mondo all’interno di un perimetro aeroportuale.
Un’infrastruttura che testimonia come l’attenzione all’ambiente e all’innovazione sia ormai parte integrante della visione di sviluppo di AdR.
La sostenibilità, infatti, viene considerata non come un vincolo, ma come una leva di crescita e di competitività: grazie a progetti come la Solar Farm,
lo scalo internazionale di Fiumicino è entrato quest’anno nella Top 10 Skytrax dei migliori aeroporti al mondo, classificandosi direttamente all’ottavo posto.
“Il nostro Premio racconta un’Italia che cresce e avanza, superando le opposizioni pregiudiziali. Vogliamo valorizzare la cultura del fare, premiando enti pubblici e imprese che contribuiscono con opere utili,
capaci di generare valore e occupazione, alla transizione ecologica del Paese”, ha sottolineato Chicco Testa, presidente di Assoambiente.
La serata, condotta da Ilaria D’Amico, ha visto l’assegnazione di otto riconoscimenti suddivisi in tre categorie:
progettazione e realizzazione di infrastrutture strategiche e impianti industriali innovativi;
promozione del dialogo e del coinvolgimento responsabile dei cittadini;
diffusione di un’informazione trasparente per superare il fenomeno Nimby.
Il premio a Veronica Pamio e ad AdR rappresenta dunque non solo un riconoscimento individuale, ma anche un segnale forte del ruolo che la società riveste come motore di innovazione sostenibile.
Aeroporti di Roma conferma così il proprio impegno nel ridisegnare il futuro del trasporto aereo in chiave green, integrando qualità dei servizi, efficienza energetica e responsabilità verso l’ambiente.
